There will also be Family Discipleship Mass opportunities on three Wednesday evening’s offering Edge and Life Teen students and their families along with all our Religious Education families to worship together as disciples.

We are always looking for students and parents to help serve at this celebrations. The goal is to bring us together as a religious education community in an effort to celebrate what we are studying about our faith together to reinforce those values and to allow the students to see the strength that grows out of worshiping together as a family.

You can download this information and get a Registration form here.

Who is invited to attend?  There are two parts to Surprise! 1. One component is designed for grades K–5. A second component is designed for Early Childhood, ages 4–5.

What is the curriculum? It is a Bible and activity-based learning experience. Children will meet as one large group for the Worship session, where they will see Bible stories come to life during the dramas. Children will be divided into smaller groups and rotate to three centers focused on: The Day’s Bible Verse, Activities illustrating that Verse, and Crafts related to the Verse. The three different centers are designed to help the students reflect on and better understand the Bible stories. A specific additional and separate component is designed for Early Childhood, ages 4–5. The younger children may participate with the older children during the Worship session.

Who will be leading the Vacation Bible School? There will be a mixture of Catechists, volunteers, High School/College Students as well at Fr. Tom, the Deacons and Office Staff of St Peter the Fisherman Parish. All of the Adults involved in the Vacation Bible School will have passed the required Background Checks and are Virtus Trained.

Sounds like fun; what is the deadline for signing up? We want to make sure your student gets the correct size t-shirt. And we have to purchase food and supplies etc.; so, we’ve set the deadline for May 12th.

DEADLINE MAY 12, 2019
