St. Peter the Fisherman's Family of Faith Religious Education Program
Our Family of Faith Religious Education Program covers Grades 1-5. We will be using Sophia Institute's "Family of Faith" materials for this coming year anf focusing on The Sacraments. A Family of Faith encourages and equips parents to catechize their children. By attending two meetings a month, parents who participate receive everything they need to teach their children about the Catholic faith at home.

Middle School Faith Formation Program
We are excited to offer a new middle school religious education program here at St. Peter the Fisherman for the 2022-2023 school year. We will be using a hybrid curriculum model, using both content from Lifeteen-Edge and the Sophia Institute's "Spirit of Truth." In addition to this formation, we will have service nights in the hopes of fostering the call to mission that Jesus gives us! Sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, typically in Marian Hall. For more information, click HERE!
High School Faith Formation Program
We are excited to offer a new high school religious education program for the 2022-2023 school year, which will be using a hybrid curriculum model, using both content from Lifeteen and "The Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth." In addition to this formation, we will have service projects mixed into the works with the hopes of fostering the call to mission that Jesus gives us! There will also be a 15-Hour Involvement Hour requirement to complete each year approaching Confirmation! Sessions will be held on Sundays after 10:00 AM Mass (students are expected to attend Mass) from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. For more information, click HERE!
Confirmation
Confirmation preparation traditionally occurs during a student's Junior year of high school. Our Confirmation program offers a well-rounded blend of traditional catechesis, service projects, parish involvement, and one-on-one conversations with sponsors. We will be using the "CHOSEN" curriculum from Acension Press as the basis for Confirmation preparation to propel the rest of our program. For more information, click HERE! IMPORTANT NOTE: Public School students are required to have completed 6 semesters of Religious Education (9-11 catechesis) and a specific Confirmation Preparatory Program in order to be Confirmed. Whereas, Roncalli and/or other Catholic High School students need to solely complete the Confirmation Preparatory Program, as they receive 9-11 catechesis in school.
